Honda Motorcycles now recommends 10W/30 viscosity oil for its entire motorcycle line.

Like the 10W/40 and 15W/50 grades of the popular top level oil, the new 10W/30 grade delivers outstanding performance across the rev range due to its highly complex molecular structure. It is suited to all kinds of four-stroke motorcycle engines and excels with its extremely high thermal and shear stability as well as an especially low evaporation loss (Noack).

The new Top Speed 4T 10W/30 ensures a stable film of lubricant, reduces friction dramatically on the contact surfaces of cylinders, crank and camshafts and thereby effectively preventing untimely wear of engine components. Its state-of-the-art additive package reliably stops corrosion inside the engine as well as residue and sludge build‑up. At the same time, the oil makes for a smooth-running engine with stable oil pressure at all engine speeds while ensuring silky clutch operation and shifting. It also significantly reduces fuel and oil consumption and ensures a perfect thermal regulation of the engine at all times.
